AK002
A deep blue textured dial meets the bold geometry of an octagonal case, finished with a fitted black rubber strap.

My compact 39 mm octagonal design pairs a vivid blue textured dial, a white AK emblem, and an integrated metal bracelet.

A completed 40 mm ice-blue automatic with a red-and-blue bezel, genuine NH35 movement, and black rubber strap. Individually assembled and tested; available on eBay.

AK002 is my larger 42 mm angular sport watch. I wanted the deep woven-texture blue dial to become the centerpiece: its color shifts with the lighting, showing different shades of blue as the watch moves. The strong hour markers and fine red seconds detail add contrast to the substantial octagonal case.
I paired this 42 mm case with a fitted black rubber strap and folding clasp, creating a more relaxed look than the integrated-bracelet models. A genuine TMI NH35 automatic movement powers the watch. I assembled and evaluated this individual piece in New York, and the gallery shows the actual watch offered in my eBay listing.
I wanted a blue dial that would reward a closer look. The patterned surface gives this larger octagonal case its personality, while the rubber strap keeps the overall design sporty and comfortable. AK002 became my experiment in balancing a bold case with a practical everyday strap.

With AK005, I wanted to revisit the octagonal design in a smaller package. The 39 mm case has a different balance from my larger builds, and the textured blue dial became the natural centerpiece. I chose a larger white AK emblem for the dial and a bright red-tipped seconds hand to give the watch a recognizable identity without making it overly busy.
I fitted a genuine NH35 automatic movement behind a sapphire crystal and paired the case with its integrated metal bracelet. My favorite part is how the more compact proportions bring the case, dial and bracelet together as one design. I am checking its running behavior as part of the build process, so please use the eBay listing to confirm current availability and final sale details.
After working with larger angular cases, I wanted to see what a more compact version would feel like. The 39 mm case, integrated bracelet and brighter blue dial became a different kind of watch entirely. I chose the white AK emblem and red seconds accent to make this particular build recognizable.

AK006 started with three candidate dials and one silver-tone diver case. Rather than choose a familiar black face, I selected an ice-blue sunburst dial to contrast with the red-and-blue rotating bezel. A black AK emblem anchors the design, while the bright red seconds hand, with its small luminous circle, echoes the red bezel and round luminous hour markers.
At my New York workbench, I assembled the watch around a genuine TMI NH35 automatic movement. The sapphire-crystal case, transparent caseback, and unidirectional 120-click bezel create a purposeful diver-inspired profile. The broad matching arrow hands are deliberately bold, while the textured black rubber strap and folding clasp keep the finished watch comfortable for daily wear.
This build was assembled from carefully selected components. I checked the date-change alignment, hand clearances, crown functions, movement fit, and secure assembly. AK006 is now listed for sale, with the photographs and terms available in its eBay listing.
The dial includes a printed depth marking, but the assembled watch has not been independently pressure tested. No water-resistance rating is represented or guaranteed. Refer to the eBay listing for the exact watch, current availability, and sale terms.

AK001 is my 40 mm field-inspired build, built around the easy legibility of a black 3–6–9 dial. I chose a smooth polished bezel, a stainless-steel bracelet, and a more prominent white AK emblem. The silver-toned hour and minute hands and slender red seconds hand give it the distinctive character you can see in my newest photographs.
I wear this watch as a personal workshop piece. It has taught me a great deal about movement fitting, stem alignment, dial positioning and the careful patience involved in assembling mechanical parts. The homepage clock is a digital demonstration based on its real dial design; AK001 remains a coming-soon build rather than a finished watch for sale.
The simplicity of a black 3–6–9 dial is what drew me to this project. I wanted a watch I could wear while learning, adjusting and testing at my own workbench. AK001 has been a personal experiment in fit, proportions and how small details change the character of a watch.

AK004 takes a very different approach: a silver-tone diver-style case, black rotating bezel, black dial and a contrasting red seconds hand. I like the contrast between the bright metal finish and the darker tool-watch details, especially compared with the stealthy all-black look of AK003.
The 40 mm preview uses a silver-tone case, steel bracelet, black dial, rotating black bezel and a red seconds hand. The gallery now includes a front view, an angled view and a caseback illustration to explain the concept. The final movement and sale specifications are still being evaluated.
I liked the character of the all-black AK003, but I wanted to explore the opposite balance: a bright steel case surrounding a dark dial and bezel. The red seconds hand adds a small, deliberate flash of color. AK004 is still a workshop project while I refine the final configuration.
